I want to love Merrell shoes. They are super comfy! When I put them on, my feet stop hurting immediately, like magic (I have plantar fasciitis on one foot).
But... the sizes are awful. Normally I wear 8M so I got an 8 in the Encore Breeze - too big but that's OK, I just wear thick socks. The Lilyfern was my first pair of open toes so I got the 7 - too short in the length but still too wide! My foot slides forward and my toes hang off the front end. I put a piece of stick-on moleskin on the top inside which seems to work (I should have just sent them back).
They get 4 stars because they seem to be very well made, comfortable shoes, just not normal sizes. This shoe would be great if it had velcro on top so it could be adjusted. FYI - LL Bean has some very similar knock offs for half the Merrell price and better sizing.
I have always been a fan of Merrell shoes, so when I saw this style, I wanted to try it,......
