Great shoes for anything off-road, especially through mud. Very stable. Great fit. And easy to clean because of the Gore-Tex.
I wanted to take a few minutes to write a review on the INOV8 Terrafly GTX Trail shoes. As some suggest in the beginning of their reviews, I rarely write reviews on products unless I find them to be top-notch in quality.
As background, on March 1-3, I ran a 100 mile snowshoe race up in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The trail was rigorous, with 1,200ft elevation gain per 6.55 mile lap, so 16 laps in total to hit 100. I was very concerned with my feet getting cold/wet in this race, given not only the snowshoeing factor, but overnight run factor as well. I wore these shoes coupled with Darn Tough Expedition Wool socks, which turned into an amazing experience. A few quick points I want to make:
