Product Review
I have been running in these (training for a marathon) after wearing out a pair of original Nike Frees. These are actually lighter, and more comfortable than the Frees. One thing to note, especially if you have flat feet, is that the arch is fairly narrow and high. That was the first thing I noticed when I put them on, though it doesn't seem to affect my running. Overall they are very comfortable, with a very small drop that should be good for someone looking to start running with a more minimal shoe, but wants more protection and comfort than something like a Vibram.
My son bought these in 8.5, as previous Brooks in a 9 had been a tad roomy for him. As other folks have noted, these run strangely very small, so they just didn't fit him, but they fit me (his Mom) really nicely. I have w/very wide feet and high arches, so I either wear a women's 8 wide (hard to find), or men's 6.5-7 regular (not much to choose from). I walk/exercise ......
