Product Review
I was really excited to get these shoes, but they do not offer the same amount of comfort previous shoes have offered. Something about the way my ankle sits on the shoe causes discomfort when I run. But I am still breaking them in, and they are feeling better with time. Overall, the shoe is not as great as I had expected.
I have run in Mizuno's for several years. The last two shoes I purchased were wave riders and I have had great success with them. They fit well, they are light, and they don't seem to cause problems. But, this new Wave Rider 14 has a higher top of the shoe at the ankle. Usually I loop my laces to prevent slipping at the heal. I can't even lace the top two loops of this shoe because it cuts into the top of my foot. They have changed the fit of the shoe some how and it's not as compfortable.
